Weight & age restrictions
Uluru Camel Tours prioritises the welfare of our animals and the safety of our guests at highest priority, to ensure camel and guests comfort all passengers are responsible to declare accurate
individual body weights at the time of booking.
- Any riders that exceed 100kg must provide their height in which safety to participate is up to
the company’s discretion. - All persons participating must have own ticket, one ticket equals one seat on our twin
shared camels. If you wish to ride solo, you must purchase two tickets. - Children MUST be 5 years and older to ride a camel this is an insurance stipulation.
- Children 5 and above MUST meet height requirement of 107cm, height measurement is located at the farm.
- Children between the age of 5 and 16 years old must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Tour Participation
- All guests ride at their own risk and are required to sign a waiver before riding our camels.
- For safety reasons, Uluru Camel Tours will refuse to carry guests who are intoxicated, under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Refunds will not be given in this instance.
- Guests on tour with Uluru Camel Tours do not require a National Park Entry ticket as guests do not enter the National Park whilst on tour with us.
- All Tours provide complimentary pick up and drop off.
Cancellation Information
- Cancellations outside 24 hours prior to the tour departure will incur a $5.00 per person admin fee.
- Cancellations within 24 hours of the confirmed pick-up time NO REFUND will be provided.
- Late arrivals or no-shows will not be refunded or rescheduled.
- Extenuating circumstances requiring tour refunds will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
- If you have booked your tour through a third-party agent, please refer to their cancellation policy.
- Uluru Camel Tours and our cameleers reserve the right to cancel or alter tours for safety reasons such as weather conditions, guest, staff and camel safety.
What to bring on tour
- A drink bottle ( we provide a drink bottle holder)
- Sunscreen
- Your camera *A hat and sunglasses
- Storage available for handbags and backpacks
- Cash or credit card to purchase souvenirs or cold drinks
- Please wear sensible footwear, comfortable clothing and warm clothing in the cooler months.
Weather in the Desert
- Wintertime in the desert can be very cold, if you are visiting us between May and September, please remember to dress warm even during the daytime.
- Staying hydrated in the summertime is ever so important. Please make sure that you have a large water drink bottle with you when joining us for a camel tour in the summertime.
